Fantasy creatures

Few months ago, I saw a picture of something indescribable! It looked like some animal from world of fantasy! It was so damn beautiful that I searched it and I realized that there are some Artist specially making those and  even sell them. I really like them, those art-works look so beautiful and they are completely hand-made so every masterpiece is pure original. I would like to have one, but of course they are not cheap (price doesn't go under 3000 CZK, but it's mostly around 5000 CZK and more, depends on size I guess). However I understand the price, because the artist spends long hours working on them.

Creators of those awesome beings often take their inspiration from old Asian (Japanese/Chinese) culture. If you would read or listen to some old stories from China or other Asian countries, you will hear about these for sure. They are described as some spirits that look like animals (mainly dragons, raptors and forest animals). They have magical powers and their main role is protecting nature. However they sometimes help humans. There are many kinds of them, for example Wood Spirit, Water Spirit etc.
